My first one ever..It’s about predeployment issues, raising military children, and the adventures my kids and I have while Daddy is gone…I keep it upbeat and funny at all times….You truly can’t live a military life style if you can’t laugh at your ups and downs….lol..I look forward to reading all your posts :0)

Welcome, and Go Navy! There are a lot of decent Milspouse bloggers out there, and it’s great to hear that you’re one too. Check out the writers on “SpouseBuzz ” which is part of Military.com. – most have blogs of their own. Good luck with your tenth (seriously? Brutal! ) deployment!

Hi Lisa. I randomly found your blog through wordpress suggestions. I too went to Miami University in Oxford. I met my longtime boyfriend there. He had a degree in psychology and realized quite quickly that he needed to go on to school. He is now in medical school (year 2) almost 6 years after graduating. I am a CPA and waiting on him to graduate, living in a different city (go figure). I related with your about page because I feel like I am putting some of my dreams on hold so that he can finish medical school and start his career.

Love and honor to Miami, college old and grand! I remember that from the college hymn because I had to sing it a thousand times when I was being initiated onto the swim team there. Yes, it can be a bummer to give up your career goals to support your spouse, but in many ways I don’t regret it because we have had such an adventurous life in the military. Besides, you’re a CPA, so you’re not doing so bad! Sounds pretty successful!
